An underpinning foundation for the development team has been a solid understanding of the requirements of the growing e-learning industry. Core staff members, Gordon Layard and Andrew Poulos together have over two decades dedicated experience in the design and development of e-learning systems and implementations. This coupled with a strong foundation in project management, prudent financial management, sales and marketing makes for a dynamic and competent development team. We firmly believe that the proposed mix of skills and talents represented by our team will ensure every opportunity for success not just for ourselves, but for you, our customers.

Gordon Layard is a director of Pacific Multimedia PTY LTD. After working in the e-learning development field for three years with then industry leader, Applied Learning, Gordon formed the company in 1993 with a view to developing innovative approaches to technology based training and development. Since then the company has undertaken numerous design and development projects for Australia's leading corporations. Gordon's background is in education, with a focus on educational technology. Gordon brings to the business, not only a firm foundation in education and training, but also highly developed skills in project, business, and financial management. In 2003, Gordon and his family journeyed to the South Pacific where Gordon was instrumental in various technology projects and in developing a national literacy blueprint for the kingdom of Tonga. Since his return to Australia in December 2003, Gordon has been working towards realising the goal of designing and developing an automated system to revolutionise the development of e-learning courses. Most recently in 2004, Gordon completed his Masters in International Studies at the University of Sydney with a particular interest in global technology transfer and international risk analysis.

Andrew Poulos has been involved in system development since 1989 when he helped create Australia's first commercial CD Rom based training package. Since then, Andrew has lead the development on numerous projects. He has taught programming techniques in Jakarta, Indonesia and was hired by a Perth based firm to develop its development methodologies. Later he co-founded Apixel Pty Ltd to provide consultancy in programming techniques and design. Their clients include Australian banks and other large corporate entities. Together with Pacific Multimedia, Apixel has developed the Metamorphosis product line.

Lise Barry is an experienced practitioner in the field of adult education and a co-director of Pacific Multimedia since 1995. Lise's legal training underpins her responsibility for quality assurance management. As well as contractual matters, Lise is responsible for all proof-reading and review of proposals, project plans, press releases and other forms of sensitive correspondence. Lise also has a role in system testing. As a qualified practicing mediator, Lise also brings highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills to the company.

Antonia Powers, joined Apixel Pty Ltd several years ago and has over 8 years experience in the usability field and accessibility field. During this time, Antonia has worked in software development companies as well as consulted to a wide variety of clients offering usability services that span over the development lifecycle. The services include: user and stakeholder needs analysis, information architecture analysis and design, user interface analysis and design, heuristic evaluation and usability and accessibility testing.

Roberto Ho has held senior programming roles in a number of languages for well over a decade. Pacific Multimedia chose Roberto from dozens of applicants for this project because of his varied experience in the areas of data management, graphic manipulation, system consolidation and integration of hybrid web based systems. As well as his technical proficiency, Roberto has demonstrated an impressive track record of being able to meet timeframes and deliver to, if not exceed, expectations. Roberto is a lateral thinker, a systematic investigator and above all, a level-headed technician who is not put off by difficulties but always responds positively to challenges and who always demonstrates a close attention to detail.

Jason Tsai is a highly qualified Graphic Designer and has over 8 years experience in the design industry. Jason has completed more than 50 projects including print, book, screen presentation, e-learning, intranet, animation, multimedia, CD Rom, and web design. He has experience in all aspects of the graphic design process.
